Landscape Bed Cleanup & Mulch Refresh in Arlington Heights, IL

For this project, we cleaned up and refreshed the landscape beds throughout the backyard, clearing out weeds and overgrown ground cover that had built up around the shrubs and trees.

Fresh mulch was installed across the beds, giving the plantings a clean, defined border and a finished look. The existing shrubs and trees, including a large blue spruce and established flowering shrubs, were kept in place and allowed to stand out now that the beds around them are tidy and uniform.

Regular bed maintenance and fresh mulch do more than improve appearance. Mulch helps retain moisture, regulate soil temperature, and reduce weed growth through the season. This homeowner’s backyard went from overgrown and patchy to clean and well-kept, with the existing plants looking their best.
