Side Yard Drainage & Downspout Burial in Arlington Heights, IL

For this project, we cleared out an overgrown side yard, trenched and buried a drainage pipe to carry water away from the home, and cleaned up the area to give the homeowner a functional, accessible path alongside the house.

The downspout was tied into the underground line, and cleanouts were installed to keep the system easy to service down the road. Stepping stones were set along the side yard to create a usable path where there was once just overgrowth and standing water risk.

Water pooling near a foundation is one of the most damaging things a home can face over time. This system moves water away from the structure efficiently, and the cleared, finished side yard now works for the homeowner instead of against them.
