Front Landscape Planting & Garden Bed Installation

Project Overview

This landscape installation includes removal of existing bushes and installation of a revised planting plan featuring hydrangeas, boxwoods, and honeysuckle shrubs, along with soil amendment and mulch application across designated beds. Optional add-ons include river rock installation along the back fence for drainage and aesthetic improvement, as well as cleaning of a clogged downspout line to improve water flow.

The project began with the removal of outdated and overgrown bushes to create a clean foundation for the new landscape design. Once the existing vegetation was cleared, the planting beds were amended with quality soil to improve drainage, increase nutrient availability, and establish optimal growing conditions for the new plant material.

The revised planting plan introduced a carefully selected combination of hydrangeas, Green Velvet boxwoods, and honeysuckle shrubs, creating a balanced landscape with year-round structure, seasonal blooms, and attractive foliage. Each plant was professionally positioned to provide long-term growth while complementing the home’s architecture and existing landscape features.

To complete the installation, premium hardwood mulch was applied throughout the designated planting beds. The mulch provides a clean, finished appearance while helping retain soil moisture, regulate soil temperature, and reduce weed growth.

The project also included optional enhancements to improve both functionality and appearance. Decorative river rock was installed along the rear fence line to improve drainage, reduce erosion, and create a durable, low-maintenance border. In addition, a clogged downspout drain line was cleaned to restore proper water flow and improve drainage around the property, helping protect both the landscape and the home’s foundation.
