Front Landscape Redesign & Installation Project

Project Overview

This project includes a complete redesign and installation of the front landscape, featuring new trees, shrubs, perennials, red mulch, bed reshaping, soil preparation, selective plant removal, and light lawn restoration while preserving and incorporating certain existing plants and drainage bed areas. The proposal also includes updated plant selections and on-site layout adjustments, with exclusions for optional work such as additional plantings, garage-side shrub removal, sod, lighting, and drainage improvements.

The project began with a full redesign of the front landscape, including reshaping planting beds to create cleaner lines, improved proportions, and a more cohesive layout. Existing soil was prepared to provide an ideal growing environment, while selected plants and drainage bed areas were preserved and incorporated into the new design to maximize the value of the existing landscape.

A variety of carefully selected ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennial plants were installed to introduce texture, seasonal color, and visual interest throughout the front yard. Selective removal of outdated or overgrown plants allowed the new landscape design to flourish while maintaining a balanced and attractive appearance.

To complete the transformation, premium red mulch was installed throughout the landscape beds, creating a polished, finished look while helping retain soil moisture, regulate soil temperature, and reduce weed growth. Light lawn restoration was also performed in areas affected by construction to ensure a seamless transition between the new planting beds and the existing lawn.

Throughout the installation, plant selections and bed layouts were refined with on-site adjustments to ensure the final landscape complemented the property’s natural features and the homeowner’s preferences.
