Front Lawn, Landscape & Drainage Renovation Project

Project Overview

This project includes a complete renovation of the front lawn with new Kentucky Bluegrass sod, cleanup and mulch refresh of the front landscape beds, restoration and management of the left-side planting bed including daylily reduction, and installation of an underground downspout extension to improve drainage away from the home’s foundation. All work includes site preparation, cleanup, and disposal of debris, with lawn and landscape restoration limited to the areas affected by the project.

The renovation began with the complete replacement of the front lawn using premium Kentucky Bluegrass sod, providing the homeowner with an instantly lush, green lawn that offers excellent durability, color, and long-term growth. Careful site preparation ensured a smooth surface and healthy foundation for successful turf establishment.

To complement the new lawn, the front landscape beds were thoroughly cleaned and refreshed. Existing debris, weeds, and unwanted vegetation were removed before installing a fresh layer of premium mulch, giving the planting areas a neat, finished appearance while helping retain soil moisture and reduce weed growth.

Additional work focused on restoring the left-side planting bed through selective pruning and reduction of overgrown daylilies. This improved the overall appearance of the landscape while creating healthier growing conditions and making the bed easier to maintain throughout the season.

To address water management concerns, an underground downspout extension was installed to redirect rainwater away from the home’s foundation. This drainage improvement helps reduce standing water, minimize soil erosion, and better protect the foundation and surrounding landscape from excess moisture.

Throughout the project, all affected areas were carefully restored, and the site was thoroughly cleaned upon completion. The finished result is a refreshed front landscape that combines a vibrant new lawn, professionally maintained planting beds, and improved drainage to enhance both the beauty and functionality of the property.
