For this project, we cleaned out an overgrown front bed and refreshed it with new plantings and a fresh layer of dark mulch.

The existing stone border was kept in place, and the bed was cleared of the overgrown ground cover that had taken over. New plants were spaced out and installed to give the bed a cleaner, more intentional look going forward.

A well-maintained planting bed improves curb appeal and also helps define the space between the lawn and the home. This homeowner now has a tidy, refreshed front bed that gives the plants room to grow and fills in properly through the season.
