Paver Walkway & Arborvitae Privacy Hedge Project

Project Overview

This project includes replacing the existing north side concrete walkway with a new Unilock Holland Stone paver walkway, including burying the northwest downspout and adjusting the grade to help improve drainage near the foundation. The project also includes installing a 14-tree Emerald Green Arborvitae privacy hedge along the east and north sides of the property.

The project began with the removal of the existing concrete walkway on the north side of the home. In its place, our team installed a beautiful new walkway using Unilock Holland Stone pavers, providing a timeless appearance, exceptional durability, and improved curb appeal. The new paver surface offers greater flexibility and longevity than traditional concrete while complementing the surrounding landscape.

To improve water management around the property, the northwest downspout was buried beneath the new walkway and connected to an underground drainage system. The surrounding grade was carefully adjusted to direct water away from the home’s foundation, helping reduce water accumulation and protect the structure from moisture-related issues.

To complete the transformation, 14 Emerald Green Arborvitae trees were installed along the east and north property lines, creating a living privacy hedge that will continue to mature over time. These evergreen trees provide year-round screening, reduce noise, enhance security, and add natural beauty while clearly defining the property’s boundaries.

The completed project combines elegant hardscaping with practical drainage solutions and long-lasting landscaping, resulting in a more functional, private, and visually appealing outdoor space.
