Permeable Paver Patio & Outdoor Living Project

Project Overview

The project includes the removal of existing concrete and installation of new permeable paver patios, walkways, steps, and edging, along with integrated lighting, drainage improvements, retaining walls, railings, and utility raceways. Additional work includes rock border installation, privacy fence construction, downspout extensions, junk removal, and all necessary materials, labor, and permit coordination.

The project began with the demolition and removal of the existing concrete surfaces to prepare the site for a complete hardscape installation. After excavation and base preparation, new permeable paver patios, walkways, and steps were professionally installed using an engineered base designed to promote proper drainage and reduce surface water runoff. Decorative edging was incorporated throughout the hardscape to create clean lines and a refined architectural appearance.

To improve both safety and ambiance, integrated low-voltage landscape lighting was installed throughout the outdoor living areas, highlighting walkways, patios, and architectural features while extending the usability of the space into the evening hours.

A comprehensive drainage system was incorporated beneath and around the hardscape, including underground downspout extensions and grading improvements to efficiently direct stormwater away from the home and paved surfaces. Utility raceways were also installed to accommodate future electrical or landscape upgrades without disturbing the completed hardscape.

The project included the construction of durable retaining walls to manage grade changes and create attractive, functional outdoor spaces. Custom railings were installed where required to enhance safety while complementing the overall design.

Additional landscape improvements included decorative rock border installation to improve drainage and define planting areas, as well as the construction of a new privacy fence that enhances security and creates a secluded outdoor environment. The project also included complete junk removal, site preparation, and thorough cleanup to ensure a clean, finished property upon completion.
