Project Overview

Complete front, side, and select backyard sod installation with full site preparation, including removal of existing grass, regrading, new soil as needed, trench edging, and all labor and materials. Also includes a new 5-zone irrigation system with Wi-Fi controller and premium Rain Bird/Hunter components, plus a PVC downspout extension for improved drainage.

The project began with the removal of the existing grass and full site preparation. Our team carefully regraded the front, side, and designated backyard areas to establish proper drainage, eliminate uneven surfaces, and create the ideal foundation for a healthy lawn. New topsoil was added where necessary to improve soil quality and ensure optimal growing conditions before installation.

To create clean, professional transitions between lawn and landscape beds, trench edging was installed throughout the project areas. This provides crisp landscape borders while helping define planting beds and making future lawn maintenance easier.

Once the site was fully prepared, premium sod was installed across the front yard, side yards, and selected backyard areas, instantly transforming the property with a thick, vibrant lawn. Every section was carefully laid and rolled to encourage strong root establishment and create a seamless finished appearance.

To support the long-term health of the new lawn, a 5-zone underground irrigation system was installed using premium Rain Bird and Hunter components. The system features a Wi-Fi-enabled smart controller, allowing the homeowner to conveniently manage watering schedules from a smartphone while improving water efficiency and adapting to seasonal conditions.

The project also included the installation of a PVC downspout extension to direct roof runoff away from the home’s foundation, helping improve drainage, reduce standing water, and protect both the lawn and foundation from excess moisture.
