Unilock Paver Patio & Landscape Installation Project

Project Overview

This project includes installation of a 331 sq ft paver patio with proper excavation, base preparation, drainage improvements, and matching Unilock pavers, along with subsurface downspout routing. It also includes new garden beds with arborvitae privacy screening, perennial planting, grading and soil preparation, and permit coordination for project approval.

The project began with the excavation of the patio area and installation of a properly engineered base to ensure exceptional stability and long-lasting performance. A premium Unilock paver system was then installed, providing a durable, low-maintenance surface that enhances both the beauty and value of the property. Careful attention was given to paver layout, edge restraint, and joint compaction to achieve a seamless, professional finish.

To improve water management, subsurface downspout routing was incorporated into the project, directing roof runoff away from the patio and home’s foundation. These drainage improvements help reduce standing water, protect the hardscape investment, and promote a healthier landscape.

The surrounding landscape was enhanced with newly prepared planting beds featuring Emerald Green Arborvitae privacy trees, creating a natural living screen that offers year-round privacy and visual appeal. A variety of perennial plants were installed to introduce seasonal color, texture, and interest while complementing the overall landscape design.
